Reception Open Day Visits

Children can start school (Reception) in the September after their fourth birthday. You need to apply for September 2027 if your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 (for a place in Reception). The applications process opens on 1 November 2026 and the deadline for applying for a Reception is 15 January 2027.

If you apply by this date, you will receive your child's school offer on National Offer Day (16 April 2027).Â
