Work of the Week

Week 1

Week 1 Esmae has written about her favourite toys and has thought carefully about using a capital letter at the start of each sentence. I like that she has used ‘because’ to explain her reasons for why these toys are her favourite.

Week 2

Week 2 Thomas has discovered what toys his Grandad played with when he was younger. He presented his work neatly and has also included a lovely diagram to explain his research. It was lovely to see how toys have changed over time in Thomas’s family.

Week 3

Skylar has worked really hard in Maths. She has drawn pictures to help her work the answers out and this has helped her to grasp the concept of comparing number sentences. I’ve been really impressed with her hard work and dedication each day.

Week 4

Week 4 This work was completed by Nel. She did such a good piece of work describing what her mother would be like if she was a superhero. I love the adjectives that she has chosen to use and her fantastic presentation.

Week 5

Week 5 I have chosen Shane as he completed a lovely piece of work for Mental Health Awareness week. He has chosen some fantastic ways to be kind to himself and I really like how he has presented his ideas.

Week 6

Week 6 I have chosen Bethany because she has worked hard to improve her letter formation. She has a better understanding of how to form her lower-case and capital letters and I can see a positive difference in her work this week.

Week 7

Week 7 I have chosen Thomas because he has carefully considered lots of ways to stay calm in our PSHE lesson. He has written his sentences with conjunctions and has used the correct punctuation. I was really impressed with his fantastic handwriting.

Week 8

Week 8 I have chosen Esmae because in the first activity, she has demonstrated an understanding of standing up and speaking out to protect other people. In activity 2, she was then able to talk about a cause that means a lot to her and is able tell people why it is important to be kind to animals. She chose this because she is an animal lover and it is important to her.

Week 10

Week 10 Ive chosen Skylar this week for her wonderful self portrait. She's worked really hard to follow each step and has created a picture which has included all of her features.
